Greetings from Clare and the 2026 Walker Cup. I’ve made it to Lahinch after a brief stop-off at the exquisite Adare Manor, home to next year’s Ryder Cup and where I expect the brats will be demanding that it become the permanent home to European editions. Not far away in kilometers, but galaxies away golf-wise, sits the otherworldly coastal links of Lahinch.
