In Hong Kong, the Hang Seng dipped 0.3 per cent while China's blue-chip CSI300 Index and Shanghai Composite Index ‌inched up 0.3 per cent each.

Emergency services were called to a community centre in southwest Sydney about 5.50 pm on Wednesday, NSW Police said. Paramedics treated the man at the scene on Rossmore Avenue in Punchbowl, but could not save him. A crime scene has been established at the site.
