The Queens Post is an independent media company that publishes seven local news sites in Queens and one in Brooklyn. We deliver up-to-the-minute reports on education, local politics, small business, crime, neighborhood real estate and more. Our experienced reporters dig up stories—both big and small—that are of concern to local residents. The publisher is Christian Murray a veteran journalist who worked as a reporter for Newsday and Thomson Reuters prior to establishing the company. He has a master’s degree from the Columbia School of Journalism and is a graduate of the University of Auckland. He founded Outer Boro Media and its subsidiaries in 2009. Murray is originally from New Zealand and has been in New York since 1994. He is on the board of the Sunnyside Chamber of Commerce and the Hunters Point Parks Conservancy. Source
