Rana No

Rana No is an editorially independent online newspaper based in Mo i Rana, which publishes the online newspaper ranano.no. Start-up October 18, 2017, after a few months of "trial broadcasts" on Facebook. Editorial-wise, we cover everything from major in-depth reports to current news items. Geographically, we have set down our border marks on Nord-Helgeland as our editorial starting point. Some years ago, Rana No was a monthly magazine on paper, in Mo i Rana. Behind the investment then stood Bodø Nu. In 2017, Rana No is a fully digital product. In addition to editorial activities, we perform services in advertising, marketing and communication. On the market side, we collaborate and collaborate closely with our sister newspapers Bodø Nu and Vefsn No. Rana No is owned by the company Rana Publishing, which at the start was owned by Nu Publishing and some of Rana No's employees. In the late autumn of 2019, Nu Publishing was acquired by Amedia, which then became Rana Nos' main owner (60 percent, 40 percent local ownership). Source
