Aesthetically speaking, this year will be remembered for how plastic surgery and treatments went mainstream. Celebrities and influencers embraced radical transparency like never before, sharing intimate details of the procedures they’ve had—or what they intend to do. GLP-1s created a surge of new patients, while regenerative treatments and groundbreaking minimally invasive techniques promised natural results with fewer risks.

When Irena Karanetz married in Miami this spring, she looked naturally radiant. It was (in her words) a “truly magical and special day,” but her fresh-faced glow wasn’tpurely from joy: it had been carefully cultivated by a series of cosmetic treatments in the months leading up to the event. The bride wore Botox in her upper face, Bellafill in her nasolabial folds, and Juvéderm Volbella in her subtly plump lips.

In the new White Lotus season premier, there’s a scene with three “long-time, not old” forty-something female friends trading compliments about how “amazing” and “incredible” they all look.
