Three words of advice for President Donald Trump as he tries to extricate himself from the mess of the Iran war: Just stop talking. Let America’s overwhelming military and economic power do the work. Trump’s daily barrage of bluster and braggadocio amounts to negotiating with himself. He declares victory one day, resumes war the next.
Jake Smith: Hot Dog Training Tips
We’ve had our share of hot days, and more are apparently on the horizon. And we haven’t even touched “the waiting room to Hades” that is the month of August. Honestly, I don’t know how people in Texas survive being that close to the sun. And yet, dog training still needs to be done in the off-season — hunting season is fast approaching, after all. Out 'n' About: Side by Side
For the past couple of summers, I’ve noticed Brad Miller and Dr. Russ Van Houzen riding together a lot. Usually sometime late Monday or Thursday morning. Brad on a traditional bike. Russ on a three-wheel recumbent trike. Sometimes another rider joins them, but more often it’s just the two of them, pedaling steadily along the Leelanau Trail. Side by side. kAm%96J’C6 ?6G6C :? 2 9FCCJ]k^Am kAmx’5 H2G6 2?5 D2J 96==@] x <?@H qC25 H6== 3FE <?@H #FDD >@DE=J 3J C6AFE2E:@?
