The communities, comprising 464 units, form part of a larger eight-community, 745-unit portfolio with an aggregate contract purchase price of roughly USD873 million, which the REIT said was well below replacement cost.
Keppel DC REIT acquires stake in two freehold Tokyo data centres - REITSWEEK
Keppel DC REIT and Keppel Ltd have entered into agreements with unrelated third-party sellers to jointly acquire 90% effective interests in Tokyo Data Centre 4 and Tokyo Data Centre 5. Both assets are hyperscale colocation data centres in Inzai City, Greater Tokyo, said the REIT in a statement on 1 September 2026. Upon completion, Keppel DC REIT will hold an 88.62% effective interest in each asset, while Keppel, through Keppel Japan KK, will hold 1.38%.
