In support of Jake Johnson
To the editor, I have followed Jake Johnson’s campaign since his very first public speaking event and personally attended three rallies. At each event, I have been impressed by Jake’s ability to listen carefully to the concerns of people from diverse backgrounds, build connections, and work toward creative solutions to the complex issues facing our district. I believe Jake is our best choice to represent District MN-01, southeast Minnesota, in the US Congress.

Mikkelson placed higher than Nelson at state meets and was running away with the section title year after year. Many in the area knew how good he was on the boards.
