A cornerstone of advancing electric vehicle (EV) adoption is investment in public charging stations. Charging stations are fundamental for accommodating long-distance travel, including along major highways and at destinations. Though the majority of EV charging currently happens at home and overnight, as EVs become more popular, the share of drivers who are entirely dependent on public chargers (e.g., due to lack of a home garage) will only increase.
