Oooof we’re at the end of a scorcher of a week in the UK! We’ve been busying through lots of life admin… our house sale fell through for the second time in a year. Which is gutting and annoying and all those things, but we’re dusting ourselves off and forging on. Because let’s not ever pretend we have control over any of this stuff, hey? The book-love continues and I’m doing lots of drop-ins on book clubs at the moment, who are getting stuck into Bedtime Adventure Stories For Grown Ups 2.

Compact, colourful shops and restaurants lined either side of the street, brightly coloured signs and decorations framing places that looked cool and dark inside.
