Summer is basically one long rotation of packing, unpacking, and hearing “Is there anything to eat?” from the back seat. You pack for one beach day or one camp pickup, and suddenly you are feeding your own kids, somebody else’s cousins, two sticky friends from next door, and at least one child who just materialized near the cooler. Which is why families tend to come back to the same question over and over: what is easy, shareable, and not loaded with stuff they are trying to avoid?
