The Prancing Horse will take centre stage with three major debuts on alongside a 20th anniversary celebration for the XX Programme and a special tribute to Scuderia Ferrari 75 years after its first Grand Prix victory. Leading the charge up the famous 1.16-mile Hill will be the three new Ferraris making their dynamic debuts.

This single-seater electric hyper track car is designed to deliver Formula 1 levels of performance for drivers of varying levels of experience. A decade of research and development — which along the way has seen the Spéirling prototype break the Top Gear track record and drive upside-down — has brought the company to this completion point.

Jaguar’s next chapter will be set in motion when the Type 01 prototype makes its UK dynamic debut on the Goodwood Hill, ahead of its full reveal later this year. Following the much-discussed Type 00 concept, which was a head-turner at last year’s event, the lightly camouflaged Type 01 should offer the clearest look yet at how Jaguar’s bold new design direction translates into a running car.

But it’s not all about the car on the Hill this time, as Praga is preparing to show us the depth of engineering behind this striking road-legal track weapon. On the company’s stand adjacent to the Supercar Paddock, we’ll be able to get a close look at what Praga is calling it’s ‘hyper-engineering’ approach, which majors on innovation, development and attention to detail. It’s a typical example of a Rolls-Royce creation that more closely manifests as a piece of priceless artwork than a car, it even features a hand-painted seascape on its dashboard panel, and yet it’s just as driveable as any other Phantom. Hand-finished in Regatta Blue with English White along the lower bodywork, this one-of-one Phantom evokes the sea from all directions, even the wheels shined to a mirror polish are inspired by the winches of a racing yacht.

Making their dynamic debuts on the Hill will be the two new Mini x Vagabund Countryman cars, a collaboration between Austrian design studio Vagabund and Mini that draws on Mini’s tradition of customisation, as well as festival culture and music reflected in the huge sound system located in the rear side windows. A mysterious new Mini edition will also be unveiled on Thursday morning.
