Outersloth and GoldenGratus released a new trailer for retro soulslike action RPG Memoirium. The minute-long gameplay trailer, revealed as part of the Secret Sauce Showcase, is joined by a minute-long dev diary video talking about the game’s inspirations and ideas. The videos come ahead of the game’s release for PC via Steam on August 13, 2026. Memoirium sees players awakening in a dream realm with no knowledge about themselves or their location.
Luminary Releasing on Steam Early Access in August
Refractive Entertainment announced that it will be releasing co-op fantasy action RPG Luminary on Steam Early Access on August 11, 2026. The Early Access release will be available for $19.99, with 1.0 version expected to launch after around a year. The game is set in a world that was corrupted centuries ago by the surging of a primal magic. That magic also created a radiant energy found within pure warriors called the Luminaries, with fight to reclaim the land.

The 7th Saga Retroview
Seven levels of pain The 7th Saga was a game I found at a local rental shop near my house. The box said RPG, and perhaps I had seen it mentioned in a Nintendo Power magazine, but it did not have much fanfare supporting it. Regardless of what drew me in, what I found when playing this game was a reality check: it was hard. I thought I knew what difficult SNES RPGs were, but this game was on a different, unforgiving level. Unbeknownst to my younger self, this game was made harder for American players.

Miresi: Invisible Future: Anime Expo 2026 Impression
Miresi: Invisible Future might seem like a gacha RPG that’s just here to offer alluring anime ladies — and, make no mistake, it absolutely delivers that — but it also contains some well-designed, strategic turn-based combat and some slightly intriguing time-travel story elements. At Anime Expo 2026, Miresi: Invisible Future had one of the flashiest booths in the Los Angeles Convention Center’s West Hall.
HellSlave II: Judgment of the Archon Launching Early August
Developer Ars Goetia and publisher Dear Villagers announced dungeon-crawling RPG HellSlave II: Judgement of the Archon will release on August 4, 2026. The game will be available for PC via Steam, with a new release date trailer viewable below. HellSlave II: Judgement of the Archon is a follow-up to 2022 title Hellslave. The game is set after thousands of years of warfare between the six Demon Lords have brought ruin to the world.
Zenless Zone Zero Version 3.1 Update Releasing Later This Month
HoYoverse announced that its Version 3.1 update for free-to-play action RPG Zenless Zone Zero will release on July 29, 2026. The update, titled “The Long Goodbye”, sees New Eridu’s faction representatives head to the sky island of Roscaelifer as the Proxies reunite with old friend Truvia, as well as meet the Airspace Patrol Department’s Administrative Director Lindverne Sunbringer and Deputy Director Sigrid. Meanwhile, Remielle Dan returns as a powerful entity comes into the story’s focus.
