By Soncirey Mitchell Reader Staff A crowd of more than 80 community members, teachers, parents and former students of Lake Pend Oreille High School gathered July 14 at the Lake Pend Oreille School District Board meeting, largely in protest of an agendized vote to relocate the alternative high school from its historic Boyer campus.

By Zach Hagadone Reader Staff The pedestrian portion of the Long Bridge is again open to non-motorized traffic, less than a month and half after the Idaho Transportation Department closed the span due to deterioration of support infrastructure below the bridge deck that posed a threat to public safety.

Photopolymer resin is really bad for your skin, so you need to use gloves to handle the stuff when processing resin-based 3-D prints. Don’t worry, we don’t use resin at the library and your PLA prints are perfectly fine to handle barehanded. The resin printer I use is for highly detailed miniatures, which require far more detail than extruded PLA can provide.
