Following the retirement of Missouri State University’s longtime economic development leader, two leadership appointments have been made. Rachel Munday, executive director of the Efactory, will serve as assistant vice president of economic development. Matt Curry, assistant director at the Roy Blunt Jordan Valley Innovation Center, will serve as executive director of JVIC. The new roles start July 1.

Posted online About 3 million people dropped Obamacare health insurance for the year ended in February, according to new federal data. According to health analysts, the drop in coverage was largely related to the Jan. 1 expiration of federal subsidies. The U.S. auto market will be smaller by 2040, according to analysts at consulting firm Bain & Co. Sales are predicted to fall by more than 2 million units by 2040.
