Famous historian Dr. Walter Edgar showcases his novel South Carolina: In the Modern Age. As an author and Historian, Dr. Edgar is primarily focused on Southern history. His work is written with the purpose of providing greater insight into South Carolina’s past, present, and future. South Carolina was extremely important in American history; however, it is rarely discussed in the 20th century.
