The Nonprofit Sustainability Initiative San Diego (NSI) went live on Sept. 2, forming a pooled fund to support sustained nonprofit collaborations.

I wanted it to be something tangible,” said Zikakis, president of Capstone Advisors, based in Carlsbad. “When I worked in New York, outside my window, somebody was building a big office tower, and I was thinking, ‘real estate,’” Zikakis said.
