As another season draws to a close, the Manly Warringah Sea Eagles family says farewell to a group of players who will not be with the Club in 2027. Every player leaves their own mark on a football club. Some do it through years of first-grade service, others through memorable performances, hard work at training, leadership, or simply the contribution they make to their teammates and the wider club. To all twelve players departing the Sea Eagles - thank you.

Manly Warringah Sea Eagles forward Haumole Olakau’atu has taken home Roy Bull 'Best and Fairest' Award for season 2026. The Sea Eagles’ Best & Fairest Award is named in honour of Roy Bull who played 177 games at prop for Manly and became the Club’s first Australian International in 1949. Bull ended up playing 25 Tests for Australia and 26 games for NSW. Olakau’atu was also named Players’ Player, as voted for by his Manly teammates. And it didn’t stop there for the 27-year-old Tongan International.

The Sea Eagles fought back from a 24-12 deficit to take a six-point lead late in the second half, only for a 77th-minute field goal from Chanel Harris-Tavita to seal victory for the Warriors. Manly opened the scoring in the fifth minute when fullback Tom Trbojevic broke through the Warriors’ defence before linking with centre Reuben Garrick. Halfback Jamal Fogarty added the extras to give the Sea Eagles a 6-0 lead.

Sea Eagles coach Kieran Foran has trimmed his squad to 20 players ahead of Saturday's Round 27 match against the Warriors in Auckland. Venue: Go Media Stadium, Auckland Match broadcasters: WatchNRL Dropping out of the squad in the 24-hour update are Nic Lenaz and Hugo Hart. The team will be reduced to 19 players 90 minutes before kick-off. Reuben Garrick will play his 180th and final game for the Sea Eagles.
