CyberDockside.ai has partnered with HexaShield to provide continuous cyber monitoring for ports, terminal operators, and vessel operators across the Americas, EMEA, and APAC. The agreement combines CyberDockside.ai's maritime cyber advisory and testing work with HexaShield's managed security operations for operational technology environments.

Red Hat has released Red Hat AI 3.5, adding new safety and observability tools for AI deployments. The update targets organisations moving AI systems from pilot projects into broader production use across hybrid cloud environments. It includes model evaluation, usage monitoring, controls for shared GPU infrastructure, and tools for building and managing AI agents.

Gallagher Security and Luxriot have formed a partnership in the United States centred on Luxriot's Operational Intelligence Platform. The partnership combines Gallagher's Command Centre with Luxriot's video and operational intelligence software through a bi-directional interface. Barracuda researchers have identified an email phishing campaign that generates fake login pages directly in a victim's browser. The attack uses legitimate Microsoft services as part of the delivery chain. Unlike the standard model, in which criminals host a phishing page on a separate website and lure users to it, this campaign creates the fake page in the browser with a blob URL. A blob URL is a temporary address that points to content held in local memory rather than on a public web server.

Check Point Research has published its global threat intelligence findings for August, showing that organisations faced an average of 2,422 cyberattacks a week. That was up 4% from the previous month and 22% from a year earlier. The data points to growing pressure across several attack types, with ransomware incidents rising, phishing activity increasing, and risks linked to workplace use of generative artificial intelligence remaining widespread.

Commvault has introduced Active Directory Pre Recover, a tool designed to help organisations maintain access to identity services when cyberattacks disrupt production systems. The solution is designed to reduce Active Directory recovery times from hours to minutes. It creates a clean standby copy of Active Directory inside an isolated, air-gapped Cleanroom environment.

DroneShield has appointed Rebecca Lowde as Chief Financial Officer as FY2026 committed revenue passed USD $250 million. Lowde will join the counter-drone technology company on 2 November, replacing Carla Balanco, who is leaving after more than eight years with the business. Balanco, who has also served as Joint Company Secretary, will support the handover after Lowde starts.

Australian business and technology leaders are less confident in the AI systems used inside their organisations than their peers in the US, UK and Japan, according to Fujitsu research. The survey found 70% of Australian leaders were not fully confident in their organisations' AI. The findings point to a clear gap between trust in AI and reported business results.

UiPath has published survey findings on enterprise adoption of agentic AI, showing that many large organisations remain in the pilot stage. The survey covered 590 C-suite and IT practitioners at companies with annual revenue of at least USD $1 billion and a minimum of 1,000 employees, excluding public sector organisations. Fewer than one in three respondents, or 31%, said AI was fully embedded in their business.
