June marks Gypsy, Roma, Traveller History Month and shmuFM wanted to create a show to mark the occasion. At shmu we pride ourselves on amplifying voices which are often mis- or under-represented in the mainstream media. The Gypsy, Roma, Traveller community have a rich culture and history in Scotland, but regularly face discrimination and prejudice. For this show we spoke to Gypsy Traveller activists from Article 12, an organisation who works with and advocates for the community throughout Scotland.

Lockdown with the Breakfast show on shmuFM Your favourite Breakfast show presenters are still bringing you shows despite being locked away in their homes. Sandy and Dave, better known as The Sandman and The Ironman are recording three days a week and broadcasting on Mondays, Wednesday's and Fridays from 7am to 9am.

New radio training courses for people who live in Torry, Woodside, Seaton, Tillydrone, Northfield, Cummings Park and Middlefield! This is a free training opportunity and once you're finished the course you'll be able to volunteer with us to produce your own radio show.

Cruise Control Friday, 5pm - 7pm, are adding to the fun. The #BigDebate is on hold for now and in place we have a brand new feature - The History Machine. It involves Aron's fantastical device that takes the date of the show, and using its numerical information, it finds us 2 songs from the charts of the past to fight it out for the honour of being the last song of the show! The Ultimate 80s Doubles Up! As from Saturday April the 1st, The Ultimate 80s will have double the nostalgia for you as they extend the show by an hour now airing from 6pm top 8pm each and every Saturday night.

The show will be presented by Jodie Molyneux who resides in Woodside. Jodie is originally from Liverpool and moved to Aberdeen to study French at Aberdeen University.

"Mama Mia!", the smash hit musical, based on the music of ABBA, kicked off a month-long long at His Majesty's Theatre this week. Actually, it high kicked, it shimmied and it absolutely shone! Written by "the boys in the band", Benny Andersson and Bjorn Ulvaeus, now both in their 70s, Mama Mia! has been playing somewhere in the world since 1999, and spawned an equally successful film, too, in 2008.

On Tuesday the 4th of October Ruby interviewed Casey and Jeni from the Torry Back Court Regeneration Project. Casey and Jeni spoke about the scheme which will involve removing the wash houses at the back of Tullos Place to create a bigger, brighter and friendlier space within these courts for residents. The removal of the wash houses from 6- 18 Tullos place and 10 Tullos Circle will take place this month.
