Get your groove on during Seattle’s biggest gaming expo Could you believe it? It’s almost time YET AGAIN for PAX West! The big show, which is taking place in Seattle from September 4-7, 2026, is one of our favorite expos to attend. Not only are there some great things to do at the show (and really, THAT’S the reason we’re there!) but there’s plenty to do afterward, too! Enter: our annual PAX West Party List.

The history of Sonic hits a crescendo with Frontiers Sonic the Hedgehog is a franchise that has never been the most consistent in terms of quality. Very few video game characters as long lived as Sonic can boast the massive range of “one of the best games of all time” to “infamously bad games” like the Blue Blur has over his 35 years. But, one thing that has always remained (mostly) consistent, is the music.

The first thing we hear can usually be the most memorable One of the most influential moments of a game for me is when we first boot it up and are treated to a title block. The game logo, the copyright, the START or CONTINUE — these combine to let us know that we’re about to enter a new world. But the part that really gets us going, and perhaps the most memorable and most influential in how an experience is portrayed to us, is that title intro music.

Avengers: Endgame Encore Hitting theaters on September 25th, the lightly updated film will feature Doomsday footage Ghost Rider Marvel has revealed that Ryan Gosling will take on the role of Ghost Rider.

SDCC is here, and that means TONS of announcements for movies, TV, comics, games and more, and we’re doing our best to collect some of our favorites. There’s a lot to look forward to in the coming year, so saddle up, get seated on the couch, and watch all these clips! The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power Alert Alert! We have The One Ring! And some new characters! The show returns on November 11, 2026.

From Evercold to Switch 2, and everything in between Back in April, we got our first look into Final Fantasy XIV’s next expansion, Evercold. At that time, the teaser trailer we saw will take the Warrior of Light into a new shard known as the Fourth. Today at Final Fantasy XIV FanFest being held in Berlin, Germany, we got to see the extended trailer with a lot more info and surprises.

Laufey’s getting her soul (and disc!) next year At its San Diego Comic Con panel today, Sony revealed the launch date for its upcoming God of War sequel. God of War Laufey, which stars Kratos’s love interest Faye as she journeys through an afterlife full of other gods, will arrive on February 16, 2027.

There’s clearly some evil in this residence The first trailer for Zach Cregger’s Resident Evil movie is here, and it opens on a resident at a hospital and ends with evil at a residence. It’s self-referential! Anyhoo, we were curious about how Cregger (of Weapons and Barbarian fame) would approach the IP, knowing that he’s aiming for a story within the game’s universe but not a retelling of the games — and it looks pretty terrifying, truth be told.
