Knoxville Children’s Theatre, in partnership with the Clayton Foundation, will present a live production of Charlotte’s Web. The play will be performed from September 11th through the 27th with showtimes on Thursdays and Fridays at 7pm, Saturdays at 1pm and 5 pm, and Sundays at 3pm. There will be no Saturday performances on days when UT has a home game. The production will take place in Knoxville Children’s Theatre’s exciting new location at 747 World’s Fair Park. Free onsite parking is provided.

Asheville, NC  - Getting lost was never so much fun!  The Eliada Corn Maze is a favorite fall event - young and young at heart love getting lost in the maze. Get your maze map hole-punched at each checkpoint for a prize and chance to be entered into a weekly drawing. Eliada’s Corn Maze runs September 25 through November 1. New this year we will feature live music on Friday, October 2, October 9 and October 16, from 5-7 pm.

The Southern Highland Craft Guild will be hosting the New Members Exhibition and OpeningReception on Sept. 26 to celebrate 39 artists who, in the past two years, have been juried in by a panel of judges to the nation's oldest craft guild. The Opening Reception will run from 1-3 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 26, in the Folk Art CenterGallery. It’s free and open to the public. The New Members Exhibition will run from Sept. 26,through Jan. 20, 2027.

The William King Museum of Art in Abingdon, Virginia is pleased to present an exhibition of selections from  the Korshak Collection, on view September 28, 2026 through January 25, 2027. Featuring 57 works by artists  including Frank Frazetta, Michael Whelan, the Brothers Hildebrandt, Arthur Rackham, Charles Vess, Hannes  Bok, J. Allen St. John, and Brian Froud, among many others, the exhibition explores the rich visual worlds of fantasy and science fiction.

The Friends of Music & the Arts Series at the Episcopal Church of St. John in the Wilderness welcomes autumn with a Celtic Harp concert Sunday, September 20 at 4:00 p.m.  Open to the public, the free concert will be held in the spacious Parish Hall opposite the church at 1905 Greenville Highway, Flat Rock. The harp quartet ensemble, Banrigh (pronounced Bahn-ree, meaning “Queen” in Scottish Gaelic) embodies a royal tribute to traditional Celtic music and culture.

ASHEVILLE, NC, July 2026— The Ferguson Family YMCA in Candler, NC, will host a new solo exhibition featuring the work of Asheville artist Spencer Beals, on view from July 3 through August 31. Presented on the ArtsvilleUSA gallery wall, the exhibition is free and open to the public; no YMCA membership is required. The exhibition showcases pieces that celebrate the beauty of the natural world and explore the impact of artists advocating for the environment.

September 9, 2026 [Knoxville, Tennessee]— This week, Dogwood Arts began installing the 2026–2027 Art in Public Places Sculpture Exhibition, bringing 29 new outdoor sculptures to public spaces throughout Knoxville, Oak Ridge, Maryville, and Alcoa. Now in its 20th year, the Dogwood Arts sculpture program continues to create opportunities for communities across East Tennessee to encounter contemporary art in the places they live, work, and play.
