Summer X Salt Markets have just announced they’re returning to Clarko Reserve in Trigg from October 24th to March 20th, with this season spotlighting young entrepreneurs, emerging musicians, and brand-new small businesses. The markets run every fortnight on the first and third Saturdays of the month, plus a handful of special pop-ups, on the grass above Trigg Beach. RAC Arena’s Concert Superpass raffle opens today, and one winner will get two tickets to every concert at the Arena throughout 2027. Raffle tickets are $10.00 each, and the money raised goes to The Salvation Army WA. The 2027 calendar already includes Radiohead, Bryan Adams, Evanescence, Empire of the Sun, and Westlife, with more shows still to be announced. The prize also includes a $1,000 food and beverage voucher to use throughout the year.

C Restaurant Has Announced It’s Closing C Restaurant will close on January 31st, 2027, taking away our only revolving dining room with 360° views of Perth. The Level 33 restaurant at the top of St Martins Tower on St Georges Terrace slowly completes a full rotation every 90 minutes, which has made it a go-to spot for anniversary dinners, proposals, and many other special occasions over the last 25 years. It has also amassed a strong collection of Gold Plate awards throught that period.

The RBA Has Raised Interest Rates To Their Highest Level In 15 Years
The Reserve Bank of Australia has raised the cash rate by 25 basis points to 4.60%. That’s the highest it has been since late 2011. This is the fourth rise this year, after increases in February, March, and May. It takes the rate up from 4.35%. The decision was unanimous and unsurprising, with all four major banks forecasting it in the lead-up. “Inflation remains elevated and some of the upside risks flagged in August are materialising,” the Board said in its statement.
