Some of us run communities here on Substack using the comments on posts, our chat function or on virtual get-togethers. Substack give us great options for building and deepening community. So many friendships have been formed through this wonderful platform. When I’m feeling down or when something bad has happened. I’ll watch a couple of episodes of magazine style chat show Lorraine. It’s the only time I watch it - I find it so comforting.

Do you have Substack subscriber anxiety? What have you been making your stats mean? Itā€™s ok you can tell me Iā€™ve genuinely heard it all love. I stopped looking at my Substack dashboard stats last month, I deleted the Substack app for 6 weeks and Iā€™m only just back. I donā€™t know if Iā€™ll stay - Iā€™m only a week in. I didnā€™t do it because I felt negative about my experience here - I did it because I was utterly bored of having a feeling about it everyday.

Sponsorships within Substack sound like a great idea to me - they widen the creator income economy in a cost of living crisis. Hi folks, A lovely intimate group this morning to tackle Substack recommendations and referrals. Remember all this work compounds over time. I have grown both of my Substack accounts through general recommendations and love to write blurbs for others. I used to have a monthly practise I would pop in and send gratitude, write and recommend on the first of every month. Now I do it every few months. The online business world is either rooted in scarcity or abundance.
