The presence of Meloxicam, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) classified as a Class 4 prohibited substance, was disclosed upon laboratory analysis of specimens collected from DESTINY’S ANGEL, MYTHICAL DREAM, POLYNOMIAL and SLINGS AND ARROWS, at Trainer Mr G D Smith’s Racing Stable at the Fairview Training Centre on 22 May 2025. Meloxicam is commonly used in equine practice to manage musculoskeletal pain and inflammation.

Trainer Johan Janse van Vuuren sends out Curtiss Condor in Race 4 and he is the possible Pick 6 banker. He has produced three good runs to date. He raced from a handy position over 1600m at Turffontein last time and stayed on to finish fourth. It must be noted that multiple horses from that form line have come out and won since.
