Published: Grand Circuit action for harness racing’s young and veteran performers will take over Woodbine Mohawk Park this weekend. The Campbellville, Ont. oval will be major race central for the next five weeks. This Saturday’s William Wellwood Memorial and Peaceful Way are two of nine Grade 1 finals that will be held from Aug. 29 through Sept. 26. That timeframe also includes several more graded stakes events.

Preferred Equine Online (PEO) will offer 76 yearlings in a timed online sale on Monday, Aug. 31, 2026. The catalogue is balanced across gaits and sexes with 22 pacing colts,18 pacing fillies, 18 trotting colts and 18 trotting fillies. Pennsylvania-breds lead the way with 30 head, followed by 13 New Jersey-breds, 10 Ohio-breds and eight Ontario-breds. Additional yearlings carry eligibility to Kentucky, New York and Indiana.
