The Associated Students of ASU Elections Department has announced results for Undergraduate Student Government and Graduate Student Government elections, setting leadership for the 2026-27 school year. The initial voting period was held from April 1-2 after two weeks of campaigning. Elections for USG Downtown executive positions and Senate seats for USG Tempe and USG West Valley were deemed compromised on April 8 and re-run.

Changes to ABOR Policy Manual section 5-202 would allow a university president's designee to call for revisions of a student government's governing documents and approve proposed amendments.

In April, ASU started the demolition of Best, Irish and Hayden residential halls, in order to make way for a new complex that is set to be completed in 2028. According to the Capital Improvement Plan for 2027-30, the new building will be located between ASU Gammage and the Apache Boulevard parking structure. The project is currently priority No. 3 on the Capital Improvement Plan list, below  construction of a new football practice facility and renovations to Desert Financial Arena.
