Hello writers! Happy National Poetry month and, for those participating, Happy Camp NaNoWriMo! April is a hugely inspirational month for writers, when I often offer a deep intensive for a small group of writers, but this year my family and I are going on vacation in the middle of it all. I’ll still be showing up here loads of times with bonus Write-ins and a brand new POETRY Prompt Party later on in the month to take advantage of all of the inspiration found all around.

The wonderful words from around the world that hold so much meaning that the English language requires sentences and stories to explain them fully, continue to inspire me. This week our word comes from the Arabic language and I think it could inspire a Valentine’s Day type story for you whether you love the holiday or hate it.
