A tight-knit community is mourning the loss of Avery Kernaghan, the 13-year-old killed in a weekend crash near Mt. Brydges that also critically injured her father. Kernaghan was an avid figure skater with the Mt. Brydges Magic Blades, a club where her mother is a coach. Friends and teammates posted photos on social media in memory of Kernaghan, with one calling Saturday’s collision “an unthinkable tragedy.”“This is to honour a young skater taken way too soon,” another said.
