Pupils at a primary school in the coastal town of Gourock were treated to a pop concert in their gym hall earlier today, after winning a prize draw organised by national commercial radio station STV Radio and the STV Children’s Appeal. St Ninian’s Primary was one of many Scottish schools that hosted a Big Scottish Breakfast event in aid of the Appeal and was entered into a draw to win the exclusive concert.
KAYE AND SHEREEN TO GUEST HOST STV RADIO
Two of Scotland’s most esteemed broadcasters, Kaye Adams and Shereen Nanjiani, are set to co-present a special one-off show on national commercial radio station, STV Radio. The broadcasting icons and longtime friends will come together to guest host the station’s Sunday Brunch show on Sunday 4 October (9am – 12noon). Kaye and Shereen will ease listeners into their Sunday with a handcrafted playlist of their favourite songs and the stories behind why they’re so special.
First look at new reality series, The Mob
Parker Posey hosts high-stakes celebrity competition series launching on Hulu on 26 October Hulu has unveiled a first look at its highly anticipated new reality competition series The Mob, co-produced by Primal Media (part of the STV Studios family) and Studio Lambert. Hosted by The White Lotus star Parker Posey, the series sends a group of celebrities to a luxurious Italian villa, where power, loyalty and strategy collide as they compete for a cash prize of up to $250,000.
INTERSTELLAR RECEIVES C4 NOUGHTIES COMMISSION
STV Studios label Interstellar and Channel 4 have partnered with Beiersdorf's NIVEA BLACK & WHITE Deodorant on a brand-new social branded entertainment format, Fresh from the Noughties with Miquita Oliver. The show follows three Gen Z participants as they step back into the world of the noughties, immersing themselves in the style, confidence and culture of the era, hosted by T4 icon Miquita Oliver.

STV STUDIOS' CELEBRITY CATCHPHRASE BACK FOR SERIES 12
Celebrity Catchphrase has been commissioned for a 12th series by ITV from production company STV Studios. One of the UK’s most popular game show formats of all time, Celebrity Catchphrase will once again see Stephen Mulhern asking famous faces to decipher head-scratching sayings from a series of animated picture puzzles. Series 12 will feature ten brand new episodes, including a Soccer Aid special. Filming takes place this autumn for ITV1, STV, ITVX and STV Player.
THE ASSEMBLY LAUNCHES YOUTUBE SERIES
Award-winning and critically acclaimed interview show The Assembly, produced by STV Studios label Rockerdale, has launched a 10-part YouTube series featuring dozens of fascinating celebrity anecdotes that have remained unseen until now. The Assembly: B-Sides includes all the funny, touching and downright bonkers moments that took place during filming for the hit ITV show but never made the final cut.
ROSS KEMP BACK FOR MORE BRIDGE OF LIES
Hit BBC quiz show Bridge of Lies, produced by STV Studios, is returning for two new series on BBC One and iPlayer. BBC Daytime has commissioned 40 new episodes of Bridge of Lies, which means audiences will be able to enjoy more than ever before. Celebrity Bridge of Lies is also set to return with 10 new episodes. The commission marks the sixth series of Bridge of Lies and the fifth series of Celebrity Bridge of Lies.
EWEN AND CAT TO BRING CHARITY POP CONCERT TO SCOTTISH SCHOOL
STV Radio presenters Ewen Cameron and Cat Harvey are set to soften the looming end of the summer holidays for one lucky Scottish school – by bringing a live pop concert to their assembly hall. The much-loved duo, who co-present Ewen and Cat at Breakfast on STV Radio, announced a prize draw in support of the STV Children’s Appeal on their show this morning, which will bring some of Scotland’s finest musical talent to the winning school for an exclusive gig later this year.
