Edison Driver Involved in Fatal Crash in Small New York Town
EDSION, NJ - A driver from Edison Township was involved in a fatal crash on Sunday in Cayuta, a small town in Schuyler County, NY. Madhu Mala, age 25, was operating a 2023 Tesla that crashed into another vehicle, resulting in the death of one of his passengers. At 4:58 A.M., New York State Police responded to a two-vehicle collision at the intersection of State Route 224 and State Route 13.

Where to See Fireworks & Celebrate the Fourth of July in Edison Township
EDISON, NJ - Edison Township will have a family-friendly Fourth of July celebration at Papaianni Park at 7:30 PM. The event is free, open to the public, and will end with a firework show starting at 9:15 PM. Bon Journey, an 80s rock tribute band, will perform at 7:30 PM before the fireworks show. Due to the extreme temperatures, the food trucks and dedicated kid's zone have been canceled for this event.
