A Wyoming woman has joined a lawsuit against xAI, alleging its Grok chatbot was used to generate child sexual abuse material based on childhood photos of her. The woman, identified in the case as Jane Doe 4, said her stepfather used Grok to create thousands of fake sexually explicit images of her as a child and traded them online, the Washington Post first reported. The lawsuit alleges the stepfather created more than 7,000 fake explicit images of her using Grok.

Microsoft has urged Windows 11 users to review startup apps as the company works on new performance tools to address the operating system’s heavy memory use and resource demands. In a post on its Microsoft Support account on X, the company said “too many startup apps can slow you down” and advised users to disable programs they do not need at boot.
