After a few instances of having this process go terribly wrong, I’ve learned to read the documentation before buying a theme to be sure that there is a carry-over of key features that I think it should have. Some features have been lost. The bullet-points that I use to introduce a summary for longer articles is gone.

The connection was in development at Apple since the 1980’s and was formally adopted as an industry standard in 1995. Until then, big data moved across heavy, finicky cables using the SCSI interface. The widely adopted SCSI-2 was fast (10MB/s) but fallible.

WordPress, for those who are not familiar with how it works, is made up of a database back-end, which users never see and the user interface (UI) which defines how the information is presented. Making a UI change while a website is running is like changing a wheel on a car while it’s moving.
