Louisiana partners with US Army Corps to fast-track coastal tech and resilience
A group of Louisiana state organizations and the US Army Corps of Engineers have teamed up to strengthen the coastline. A May report in The Guardian about a study of Louisiana’s Gulf Coast caused a stir in New Orleans and Southwest Louisiana. The Louisiana Coastal Protection and Restoration Authority (CPRA), the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) and the Army Corps of Engineers agreed to the partnership at a meeting in Baton Rouge last month.
