APRA looks to tech partners for IAM solution delivery
The Australian Prudential Regulation Authority (APRA) has issued a request for quote, seeking a partner to deliver an Identity and Access Management (IAM) solution that supports APRA’s identity security, access governance and regulatory compliance objectives. Following a market assessment process, APRA has shortlisted SailPoint Technologies (Identity Security Cloud) and Saviynt Enterprise Identity Management as the candidate platforms for implementation.
Baidam partners with RMIT for First Nations STEM scholarship
First Nations tech provider Baidam has announced a STEM scholarship with RMIT, Australia's largest tertiary institution. Doug Browne departs Cisco
Doug Browne is stepping away from his role as director of sales for APJC for Cisco's Security Service Edge (SSE) and SASE portfolio, including Cisco Secure Access, Cloud Security and Identity - Duo. He joined the company at the start of 2019 after six-plus years at Qualys, where his final role was MD of APAC. Prior to this, he was Dimension Data’s general manager.
