This session is aimed at suppliers interested in supporting the delivery of the DDW programme.

What the Defence Investment Plan means for techUK members. AI and autonomy are the driving force of the DIP. Taskforce RAID and Project Frontier receive £100m each, and the Defence AI Centre is confirmed as Defence’s enduring centre for AI delivery. Foundational digital infrastructure gets a boost: a £420m top-up takes the Digital Backbone to £1.8bn to 2030, with a further £740m for the Digital Targeting Web.

Head of Health & Social Care, techUK Head of Health & Social Care, techUK Robert joined techUK in October 2022, where he is now Programme Manager for Health and Social Care. Robert previously worked at the Pension Protection Fund, within the policy and public affairs team. Prior to this, he worked at the Scottish Parliament, advising politicians and industry stakeholders on a wide range of issues, including rural crime and health policies.
