Dr. Allen graduated from the Harvard Business School and earned his doctorate in business at the University of Virginia. He started trading options on the floor of the CBOE in 1979, and has successfully traded stock options for over 40 years.
Every year for the past 40 years, he has traded options nearly every day that the market was open. He has tried every conceivable option spread strategy imaginable, and fallen flat on his face dozens of times. On the other hand, on a great many occasions, the actual portfolios he has carried out for Terry’s Tips subscribers have earned as much as 100% a year (after paying all commissions at TD Ameritrade’s regular rates).
