The upshot was that if you’re more “artisan author” than “tireless content machine,” you’re better off courting True Fans than relying only on algorithms to sell your books — especially in exclusive programs like Kindle Unlimited. True Fans are the best of the best. If you have enough True Fans, you never have to worry about flops.
