The Washington Commanders lost star quarterback Jayden Daniels in Week 2 of the NFL season due to a dislocated elbow. The Commanders fell to the Dallas Cowboys 37-20 as Daniels was injured right before halftime and did not return. The former Heisman Trophy winner has missed the last two games with his latest injury, and doctors don’t seem optimistic about his full recovery.

The Washington Commanders had victory within grasp during Sunday afternoon’s game against the New York Giants, but some horrific end-of-game clock management resulted in the team having to settle for a tie. The incident seems to have left one of the team’s owners in a state of disbelief. With the game tied 27-27 in the closing seconds of overtime, the Commanders had the ball at the Giants’ 26-yard line with 55 seconds left.

Friday, President Donald Trump was in Syracuse, New York, to campaign for Bruce Blakeman, the Republican candidate for the state’s gubernatorial election. During the rally, Trump announced that former heavyweight world champion Mike Tyson was in attendance. According to Outkick Sports Jackson Thompson, before the Syracuse appearance, Tyson visited the White House in support of the president ahead of the midterm elections and gave reporters an early poll forecast.

The Los Angeles Chargers have started the season 0-4, and someone has to take the blame. After Sunday’s 30-23 loss to the Seattle Seahawks, Chargers head coach Jim Harbaugh didn’t put it all on offensive coordinator Mike McDaniels and said the OC job wouldn’t be at risk despite their record.
