Former FA Council Member, Dame Robina Shah DBE has received the Freedom of the City of London in recognition of her outstanding contribution to, and achievements in, healthcare and medical education. Dame Robina served on The FA Council from 2021 to 2025 and was a member of both the Women’s Football Board and Disability Football Committee.

One of England’s County FAs has received a significant regional award, demonstrating the huge contribution our local governing bodies make not only to the national game, but also the communities they serve.

The EE Disability FA Cup trophy is displayed alongside a braille art piece of the EE Disability FA Cup logo Ahead of this weekend’s EE Disability FA Cup, a newly-commissioned piece of art based on the event’s logo, featuring a message in braille from England men’s team captain Harry Kane has been unveiled. The artwork by Clarke Reynolds, also known as Mr. Dot, was commissioned by the FA to help widen inclusivity across all areas of the National Finals weekend.

We can now reveal the clubs entering our men's competitions in 2026-27 Over 700 football clubs from across the English National League System are set to take part in the 2026-27 Emirates FA Cup competition. The 743 clubs accepted to participate and the clubs exempt from playing until specific rounds of the Emirates FA Cup can be seen below. The lists of clubs accepted and any exemptions for the 2026-27 FA Youth Cup, FA Vase and FA Trophy can also be found below.

The tenth edition of the EE Disability FA Cup will once again be staged at St. George’s Park this weekend, with six finals taking place over the weekend of Saturday 27 and Sunday 28 June 2026. Creating the largest competition of its kind, the EE Disability FA Cup finals ensure that players within impairment-specific football have a national FA competition to call their own through the following formats: Amputee, Blind, Cerebral Palsy, Deaf, Partially Sighted and Powerchair.

A newly formed football team, Football United, played its inaugural fixture against the Royal Air Force (RAF) at Wantage FC in May, as part of our Community of Practice Ambassador programme. Launched in 2024, our Community of Practice Ambassador Programme sets out to strengthen the connection between grassroots football, County FAs and our EDI Strategy, A Game Free from Discrimination.

Applications are now open for clubs to apply to compete in the 2026-27 FA Sunday Cup. Participation in The FA Sunday Cup Competition 2026-27 will follow the same format as the 2025-26 season. Under the current structure, a maximum of 128 Clubs can be accepted. Participation in the Competition shall ONLY be open to Clubs competing in the top Division of a Sunday League for season 2026-27 that is sanctioned by The Association or an affiliated Association.

Our wishes partners, Rays of Sunshine, provide families of children with life-limiting conditions once in a life-time opportunities to meet our teams at St. George's Park. Ahead of the matches against Ukraine and Spain, families headed to The National Football Centre to watch England Women train up close. After seeing the Lionesses put through their paces, the children were given the chance to meet the players, collecting autographs, posing for photos and sharing special moments with their heroes.

We have today announced a new two-year extension of our charity partnership with Alzheimer's Society, which will now run until the end of the 2027-28 season. This new extension will take our collaboration with Alzheimer's Society into a seventh year, giving us further scope to build on the £1.6million that we have already raised for the charity since our partnership started in 2021.
