To say the vampire sub-genre had its moment would be putting it lightly. Just ask Stephanie Meyer’s accountant. The world was enamored with her glittery iteration of the pale scourge. But before the modern wave was Dracula, Nosferatu, and The Count who lives over on Sesame Street if you want to get a little silly. But, despite the mass appeal of the fanged and ferocious, there has been very limited success in the field of video games for the blood lusting brood.

It’s Monday, ladies and gents, which means we finally get to hear the basic effects of our freshest piece of content, the upcoming Move-In Reg Gregor EGO! My previous theory held true, and this variant of the EGO focues more on Charge while still providing great boons to Burn. While we won’t know exact breakpoints for team building until the drop on Wednesday, we’ve got enough to make some more educated assessments, alongside some new changes coming to the universal experiences of Limbus Company.

In a sea of dime a dozen cinematic adventure games that have punctuated the last decade, A Plague Tale  has always felt like a series willing to push the envelope while still scratching that itch for fans of the action adventure genre. It stood out for it’s dark, macabre story and setting, it’s impeccable visuals, and it’s memorable characters. So much so, that one of the second game’s side characters was so intriguing, they have negotiated their own spin-off.

Happy every other Tuesday, folks- time for another Limbus Company content tease! This time, we’ve got a new Move-in Reg Gregor EGO to theorize about, alongside a few old EGOs getting the Uptie 5 treatment. Gregor’s last drop was his Dawn Office Fixer Identity, solidifying his spot as a Burn mainstay. Knowing what we do both about Move-In Reg from Heathcliff’s EGO, plus the mechanics and effects of the Abnormality kqe-1j-23, Burn and Envy are on the menu.

Mortal Shell 2 has made massive improvements from it’s first entry, while still maintaining its strongest pieces. Alongside the phenomenal presentation and theming of the original Mortal Shell, Mortal Shell 2 brings back one of the original game’s shells, Eredrim. In Mortal Shell 2, the playable Shells vary heavily in playstyles and game plans. We’ve got rogues, summoners, and a wide variety of front line warriors. Proxima is one of the later, a Lightning based fighter who can force even bosses to stagger on demand. I’ve put together Mortal Shell 2’s Best Proxima Build, weapons, abilities, and Tarstones all.

Each Shell in Mortal Shell 2 functions as a wholly unique character, packaged with all new passives, special moves, and skill trees to further differentiate them. Dual Symmetry clearly took plenty of time to ensure each Shell has a niche, and Tiel was a quick personal favorite.

Twisted Tower is a rather short game, especially for an FPS horror, and it only takes a handful of hours for you to reach the end if you aren’t achievement hunting. The game actually gives you a tool to help you track the secrets you’ve found and find if you missed anything, and I recommend making use of this if you want to get the Secret Safari achievement. This tool is your journal.

We’ve got one more major patch after this one until the big Canto 10 drop in Limbus Company. For now, Project Moon is tossing us some bones to tide us over, both in a new Reflectrial, and a new Standard Fare ID, Cinq East Hong Lu. Getting a new member of an establish Association is exactly what I wanted from these ‘buying time’ updates while waiting for Canto 10, and it’s super fun to see a bit more of these groups explored, even if mechanically they aren’t much to write home about.
