This week's post is in place of Tuesday Ten as in last week's edition I was asked to share all the lights I've bought for our home, so here it is. I'm also doing a Q&A on Instagram this week if you have any burning questions. Lighting can completely change how a room is experienced, for better or worse. Yes, it has to be functional, but the best versions of it go further than that - form and function working in sync.

I’m getting back to work events, which is both delightful and exhausting in equal measure Outside of work, the Rose Wylie exhibition at the RA was a treat and we also did a very helpful baby first aid course with Newborn & Beyond.

As you may well know we’re currently renovating our home in London and the end is in sight. From the get-go, I’ve had a clear idea of our design ‘codes’. I’ve wanted to pay tribute to the Georgian heritage, whilst still moving it forwards in a way that feels contemporary and us. I hope our house will feel inviting, calming, sophisticated, relaxed and grounded. I don’t want anything shouty, gauche or shi-shi. Most of all, I want it to feel quietly considered, because boyyy have I considered.

I’m fairly sure I got drunk from tiramisu though, which feels like a new low for my current lightweight status. We went for a sleepover in central London at the Haymarket Hotel with If Only If, the beautiful nightie brand. It was the perfect scenario for my first solo dinner with my husband and Cosmo in our room just upstairs if I was needed.
