Nearly 30% of women in N.J. ages 18-49 did not receive the reproductive care they needed in 2024 and 2025, according to the Urban Institute’s Reproductive Health Experiences and Access Study. The study surveyed 2,800 women from N.J. and their experiences accessing pelvic exams, cervical cancer screenings, birth control, fertility assistance, menopause treatments, care for irregular periods, and services for transgender people.
