Starfield was released back in 2023 to the disappointment of many with complaints of fragmented exploration, repetitive POI's, soulless NPC'S and a bland main story. The developers took it in stride however, and it has been getting new content and quality of life change on a regular basis ever since.all of this work has clearly paid off with it having a metacritic score of 83 now.

Apex Legends Wildcard was released in July 2025 as a more chaotic and fast-paced game of Apex with only 30 players and no limit on hero stacking allowing for funny comps. The main feature and namesake of the mode are Wildcards, consumables that grant a wide range of abilities and can shift a fight in an instant. The most recent update for Apex Legends is the Aftershock event which mainly focused on new Wildcards updates as well as some hero buffs.

Sony has dropped it's lined up of PlayStation Plus Essential games for the month - two were already leaked, but one is a surprise. The first Tomb Raider Trilogy was released by Core design In 1996, 1997 and 1998 and have now been remastered with smoother framerate and better graphics. This was done by Aspyr and released in February 2024. Tomb Raider follows the adventures of Lara Croft as she searches for powerful ancient artifacts with supernatural properties.

Call of Duty Black Ops 7's extraction shooter game mode called Endgame was released on November 21st 2025 and could originally only be unlocked by completing the main campaign. This was then changed to simply owning BO7 because many people only played multiplayer. In an attempt to boost the popularity of the mode it is being brought to Warzone as of April 2nd and will be free to play. In Endgame you load into a 32 player match in squads of four on an expanded version of the campaign map Avalon.

Fortnite was released in July of 2017 by Epic Games with it taking the gaming world by storm with its unique building mechanics, a less violent and more animated look, and simpler game mechanics compared to the other big battle royale of the time, PUBG. It has since had over 650 million downloads and has made more than $26 billion as of 2025.

Super Meat boy 3D was released yesterday and added to Game Pass as a surprise addition. Even though game pass was already getting eight more games in april they saw it fit to give us a bonus one. It is a sequel to the platformers Super Meat Boy (2010) and Super Meat Boy Forever (2017) made by Team Meat yet it has differentiated itself by taking the game from 2D to 3D.

Despite the fact that Sony has not yet announced the lineup of PS Plus games for April, there have been leaks via Billbil-kun at Dealabs - Lords Of The Fallen and Sword Art Online: Fractured Daydream. It's my favorite soulslike not made by FromSoftware. Lords Of The Fallen is a third-person soulslike game released back in October 2023 by Hexworks, with a dark, gothic atmosphere and an emphasis on difficult combat and interconnected map design.

With GTA 6 still half a year away, we took it as a chance to look back at the past of the king of crime games, heading all the way back to 2008. GTA 4, which was released on April 29th 2008, became the fastest-selling entertainment product ever at the time earning it a Guinness World Record. Despite the fact that the PS Plus April lineup has yet to be announced by Sony, a leaker by the name of Billbil-kun from French website Dealabs has confirmed two games that are going to be on the list, those being Lords Of The Fallen and Sword Art Online: Fractured Daydream. We all know about Lords… but what is this Daydream game? Fractured Daydream came out in October 2024 and is the 10th anniversary game of the original anime adaptation of the Sword Art Online manga.

The newly announced April lineup for Xbox Game Pass looks great but it's kicking off with a horse training simulator that normally costs a shocking $40. Have you ever played an open world RPG and thought, 'I'd love to have some dolls from the 1960's in here' no? Well clearly an exec at Microsoft has because the first game to be added to Game Pass this month is Barbie Horse Trails on April 3rd.
