If I am being totally honest, initially I was unimpressed with the plus size selections in the Nordstrom Sale. And for good reason... It's freaking bare bones. No Good American in the sale, no SKIMS, no new Kut from the Kloth pieces, and very few options all around. It's a bummer for sure, but not a surprise given the state of plus size fashion right now.

Comfy, classic-leaning, and easy-to-wear fall wardrobe staples are the big Nordstrom Anniversary Sale winners for me this year. Shocking...right? If you've been with TME for a while, you know I'm definitely your gal for stretchy jeans, uber-soft sweaters, and chic but comfy jackets and coats. I've been doing NSale try-ons and reviews for eight years now (wild!?!), and for me, this sale is all about finding those versatile fall pieces that make getting dressed easier.

One of our favorite categories that always sells out FAST in the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is dresses and skirts. This is where brands like STAUD, Veronica Beard, and Cinq à Sept, which almost never go on sale anywhere else, actually get marked down. It's the perfect window to snag those special pieces you'll wear all summer and straight into fall.

Heyyyyy Gang! It's that NSale time of year again, and here I am, your Friendly Neighborhood Shopping Enabler (unlicensed, opinionated, and, uh, free) back with my usual report on the absolute best bets - the true gems - of the 2026 Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. Per usual, the team and I have spent the last several days elbow-deep in this year's Preview, squinting at product photos like only the truly unhinged can (our team attracts, shall we say, a type) and now we have alllllll sorts of thoughts.

We're in Chicago!! My niece, Greenlea (Scotti's daughter!), is in Newsies, which is currently playing at Theater Wit. If you're familiar with the show, she's playing the role of Les, which turned out to be a pretty big part!! She had to, uh, just casually learn how to tap dance for the role, and opening night totally blew us away. The whole production is freaking great - there's so much energy and talent - and Theater Wit is such a fun place to see a performance.

These MOTHER jeans were part of the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale last year and sold out immediately-before I even had a chance to share them with you. They were one of those rare pairs where I slipped them on and immediately thought, Yep. These are coming home with me. And let's be honest, I have way more hell no's than I do f&*k yeses when it comes to denim try-ons. But the Hustler Roller Sneak has to be one of the best booty jeans I've ever worn.

There are so so many sunscreens out there that I'll be the first to admit I get overwhelmed and want real feedback outside of retailer descriptions. It's super helpful to have reviews on what works for different skin types and different lifestyles and have personally loved reading through each of our editor's favs.

I guess I will never stop trying to be a 'summer shorts' kinda gal, even though it doesn't come naturally to me (I say, as I stare at the overflowing number of summer dresses currently taking up space in my closet). So, when I see a cool-looking pair of shorts that I think could actually work for me during this summer heat (like this pair of bermuda-length camo shorts) I do everything in my power to integrate them into my everyday summer wardrobe.

I've officially been in Europe for one month now, Croatia to be specific, and I'll be traveling through a few more European countries before heading off to Asia. And now that I'm averaging anywhere from 10,000 to 20,000+ steps a day, it's safe to say I can speak to the best shoes to pack for your next international vacation (or let's be honest, even a trip to Disney). Here's the thing nobody tells you: walking in Europe is a completely different sport.
