By Christopher Pimentel, May 12, 2026 Cal Poly Pomona’s Office of Conflict Resolution Services and Ombuds is set for immediate reestablishment following approval from the Academic Senate. The Academic Senate passed a resolution during its meeting May 6, reaffirming its strong support for a fully staffed, independent university Ombuds office and calling for the initiation of an expedited search to fill the Ombuds position.

By Gabby Roscuata, May 12, 2026 Musk accused Altman and OpenAI president Greg Brockman of tricking him, saying he felt like a “fool” for funding the company that eventually reached a value of $800 billion. According to BBC, his claims included breach of charitable trust and unjust enrichment. If Musk wins the case, he will ask Altman and Brockman to step down and pay $150 billion in damages, along with OpenAI reverting to a nonprofit, according to Wall Street Journal.

However, she ended up dropping the idea because she said could not stand looking at skeletons and bones, and they gave her nightmares. Even though her father was dissatisfied with her decision, Li tried to change the world in a different way: through food.

By Ava Uhlack, May 12, 2026 Global architecture and design firm Gensler has been chosen to lead a comprehensive conceptual land use plan and utility assessment for the Cal Poly Pomona Campus South, also known as the Lanterman property, according to Cynthia Peters, director of media relations at CPP. Gensler held the Student Ideas Competition, allowing students to submit proposals for possible conceptual land use for Lanterman.

Therapist lined up at the door, greeting everyone with art, music, and self-care supplies.

By Kenna Jenkins, May 12, 2026 A Cal Poly Pomona student made a Chrome extension that allows students to view a professor’s Rate My Professors rating directly through their BroncoDirect when searching forclasses. The extension called BroncoSort shows professor ratings, provides the link to their Rate My Professors page and lists professors from highest to lowest rating for classes taught by different instructors.

By Gabby Roscuata, May 12, 2026 Cal Poly Pomona’s Associated Students, Inc. approved adding changing tables and high chairs to ASI-managed facilities to help student parents at its meeting May 7. After inserting baby changing stations in bathrooms at ASI-managed facilities, including the Bronco Student Center lower level, Ursa Major and the BRIC, ASI Executive Director Liz Roosa Millar announced plans to add high chairs at the BSC.

Keith & Janet Kellogg University Art Gallery April 25 through May 17 with the entrance dedicated to senior portfolio booths filled with personal stories and free merchandise, and the back walls aligned with paintings and handmade sculptures.
