Bring Me The Horizon played the first of their “Count Your Blessings” 20th anniversary shows yesterday, July 10th. The celebrated alternative metal band took over B.E.C. Arena in Manchester, England for a full album performance of their aforementioned deathcore debut. That show opened a two-night residency at that venue celebrating that record.

Cinematic metal band Galactic Empire will bring their array of various movie score covers on the road again this September.

Another preview has arrived from an upcoming new jazz tribute album to grunge music. Musora has been helping spearhead that release, which has been titled “Kind Of Grunge“. Generation Y, a jazz ensemble anchored by Ulysses Owens Jr., will be issuing that record on August 14th. Together the collective previously turned in a cover of Pearl Jam‘s 1991 hit “Even Flow“. This time around they’ve adapted Alice In Chains‘ 2xd platinum 1992 hit, “Would?“, you can watch them cook through that below.

There’s a new music video for Stitched Up Heart‘s “LOVE AND DEATH” to be seen today. That track, which features Austin John Winkler (the Founder, ex-Hinder), comes from Stitched Up Heart‘s latest album “MEDUSA“, which the band dropped this past June. That outing was almost exclusively filled with cameos, with members of Nonpoint, Butcher Babies, Conquer Divide and more all lending their talents. The soundtrack has been set for the upcoming ‘NASCAR 26‘ video game. Due out across multiple platforms this September, the game will feature an array of alternative rock, classic rock, country and more. Among the featured artists are Papa Roach, Chevelle, Alien Ant Farm, Stone Sour, Finch, Tigercub, Kami Kehoe and more.

Shinedown bassist/vocalist, etc. Eric Bass has announced he will be sitting out the band’s immediate touring plans after suffering a “serious mental health crash” several weeks ago. Bass has revealed that he has since sought out professional help and has been undergoing both therapy and transcranial magnetic stimulation, a treatment commonly used to treat major depressive disorders and OCD.

See You Next Tuesday have revamped another early track, this time serving up a ‘redux’ version of “A Portable Death Ray and a Sterile Claw Hammer“. The Midwestern grindcore band have linked back up with the newly reactivated Ferret Music for this aural overhaul. The original studio version of the aforementioned song first emerged on their 2007 Ferret debut “Parasite“.

Drag Me Out have shared a new track titled “Blood Gods“. That melodic metalcore band are fronted by ex-Asking Alexandria vocalist Denis Stoff, who said of this track, “This song almost never came out… but now it’s yours!”. You can find a lyric video for that song below. It’s the third single to be released this year from the outfit, and closely follows last week’s “Halo Of Smoke“, which you can find below as well. Various nü-metal tribute bands will be playing a string of shows together this fall as part of a run they’ve dubbed the ‘The Nu-Metal Values Ozzfest Rehash Tour‘. Korn tribute band Twist, Limp Bizkit tribute group Full Nelson, and Deftones tribute outfit Diamond Eyes will be serving as the core lineup across the majority of that 6-date trek.

Polish death metal outfit Vader will headline the North American ‘Reign Forever In Kingdom Of Blood‘ tour this fall. Fellow death metallers Jungle Rot will be taking on the direct support spot for that trek, which will also feature Fleshcrawl and Trash Panda as openers.
