Welcome to Showcase! We’re back with our September edition! A note from Bethany Leger, our new editor: Dear Readers, This late summer moment ushered in another groundswell of support! A heartfelt thank you for your wonderful submissions! This month’s selections reminded me of the fragility of life, the people and things we might take for granted. Both authors found a way to poke and prod in their narration, one laying bare old wounds, the other, pulling me into the present.
