The Wolfman Cometh
Blog
The Wolfman was born when his coworkers tried to force a nickname upon him because there was already someone working there with his actual name. The Wolfman refused to take this name and instead claimed he would only respond to being called “Wolfman”. This nickname stuck, which is most likely a credit to the fear everyone felt even considering crossing the Wolfman. This site was created because the Wolfman loves to read comic books and watch horror movies, as well as use curse words and talk shit on things other people do. Most people he encounters choose not to engage him in these discussions, not wanting to encourage or contribute to his violent outbursts of anger, rage, or praise, so the Wolfman takes to the internet instead. Sadly, the amount of content that the Wolfman enjoys is typically harder to come by, so he finds himself venting his frustrations of the current creative content of these two mediums. He does, however, sometimes find himself enjoying things, and makes sure to praise them as much as possible. The best way to get in contact with the Wolfman is through commenting on his site, because engaging in private discourse is something that makes the Wolfman uncomfortable. Hopefully you enjoy the site, post a comment here and there, and we can all have a safe and fun experience. Source

It wasn’t until I was sitting down to watch Fjord, a movie I was interested in solely because I knew it had won the Palme d’Or at the Cannes Film Festival, that I realized: I don’t care about the Palme d’Or. Sometimes, the festival absolutely gets it right, with recent examples being Titane and Parasite. Other times, the winner of the festival’s best prize ends up being a movie that doesn’t impress me in any significant way.
The Best New Horror Movies Streaming on Tubi in October 2026
It’s that time again! The time when I tell you what horror movies just hit Tubi and I highlight the best ones. What makes this month especially exciting is that it’s October, so that means it’s full-blown Halloween Time. While there are roughly one million streaming services to choose from, Tubi has a handful of solid movies that are worth watching this time of year to help get you into the spirit of the season, and the best part? You can watch them for free! The worst part?
Halloween Horror Movie Tier List
There are a lot of horror movies out there that have some sort of connection to Halloween. While there are some movies, like John Carpenter’s Halloween or Trick ‘r Treat, that have distinct connections to the holiday, other movies have only tangential connections to October 31st. Even still, some movies have no narrative connection to Halloween whatsoever, yet we can’t help but revisit them every single October.
Primetime (2026) [REVIEW]
The world was a very different place 20 years ago; nothing was funnier than The Office, no one had to know what Twitter was, and Chris Hansen‘s To Catch a Predator was a good idea. I’m not above admitting how many laughs I had at the expense of the Dateline spin-off in which Hansen teamed with Perverted-Justice to publicly shame those trying to meet minors for sex, if only for the gravitas the journalist brought to reading screen names like meatrocket8 or Hambubger.
Universal Orlando Resort’s Halloween Horror Nights 2026 Haunted Houses Ranked
Another year, another trip into the fog, courtesy of Universal Studios Florida and their Halloween Horror Nights event. This year marked my sixth time attending as part of their opening-night media event, and it’s always a blast to be around other sickos as we wander through fog and chainsaws in the ungodly Florida heat.
It Ends (2025) [REVIEW]
When I was a much younger Wolfman (Wolfboy, I suppose), I was equally intrigued and terrified of getting lost. Not that I was going on regular excursions into the unknown, but the events of The Blair Witch Project really freaked me the hell out, and, to a lesser extent, YellowBrickRoad also unnerved me.
Onslaught (2026) [REVIEW]
You’re Next and The Guest are two of the best genre movies of the 2010s. Both movies were directed by Adam Wingard and written by Simon Barrett, and while the effectiveness of those back-to-back home runs is undeniable, follow-up projects like Blair Witch and Wingard’s Death Note didn’t quite reach the same highs. Then, understandably, Hollywood came calling and Wingard directed two Godzilla vs.
Is the Possession Remake Already Doomed?
Andrzej Żuławski‘s Possession is one of my all-time top five favorite horror movies. Even though it didn’t immediately click with me the first time I saw it, the more times I watched it and the more times I told other people to watch it (earning both positive and negative reactions for doing so), it cemented itself as a title that brings together so much of what I love about the horror genre.
Best New Horror Movies on Tubi in September 2026
I know what you’re thinking: “Summer’s over, time for Halloween!” Well, you’re sort of right, because summer is over, but we’re not quite at October yet. Even though it’s not October, I’ve still got some suggestions for the best horror movies available to stream on Tubi right now, some of which might get you into the Halloween spirit, others will…just be good movies.
SOULM8TE (2026) [REVIEW]
When thinking about what made the M3GAN franchise such a hit, I’d argue it’s, well, M3GAN herself. After all, if not for her uncanny valley face, her sassy attitude, and creepy dance moves, there’s no way she would have ever become a TikTok sensation before even landing in theaters.
