Keelon Russell - Starter Austin Mack Jett Thomalla No surprises appeared on the quarterback depth chart, with Keelon Russell listed as the starter, as announced last week, and Austin Mack as the backup.

The Crimson Tide extended their hot streak Saturday night, taking down the Tennessee Volunteers 37–20 inside Bryant-Denny Stadium and continuing their charge toward Atlanta and a possible playoff berth. The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly: Alabama vs. Vanderbilt The Good The Crimson Tide defense came alive in the second half. After a sluggish opening, Kane Wommack’s group made all the right adjustments — swarming the football, tightening coverage, and generating pressure that completely disrupted Vanderbilt’s rhythm. Once Alabama’s front seven settled in, the Commodores had no breathing room, and tackling improved as the game went on.

Hillcrest's offense started the game sluggishly, going three-and-out on its first drive, which resulted in a punt. He nearly returned it for a touchdown but was knocked out of bounds at the Gophers' one-yard line. TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — Tragedy struck the Russell family last week as Kierston Russell, the twin sister of Alabama freshman quarterback Keelon Russell, tragically passed away in Tuscaloosa. When asked about how the team has rallied around their teammate, Alabama offensive coordinator had this to say Thursday to Tide 100.9's Ryan Fowler: "A couple days had passed after Kierston passed, Keelon came back out for a walk through, and we're on the field, and we got done.
